January 2020 – Playlist

New year, new playlist, same setup. All my monthly music-finds in one playlist, with special presentation of my absolute favorites.

Here’s the January 2020 playlist with 90 songs.

10 years ago i fell in love with Jack Tatum’s one man jangle shuttle Wild Nothing. New EP Laughing gas is out and there’s still love. If Vargas & Lagola is a new acquaintance, I urge you to get acquainted with their full lenght debut The Butterfly effect.

Swedish singer who has backed The Chainsmokers.

2. Winona Oak – Let me know

 

Smashing debut album Modus Vendi was released on 17. January. Hard to come up with any comparison. Best in comtemporary rap!

3. 070 Shake – Guilty conscience

From what I’ve heard this bearded, Swedish Ryan Adams has got floorball talents as well. Stick (pun intended) to the music, please!

4. Ludwig Hart – Cowboys

Surf pop that makes you long for summer.

5. Husbands – 3AM

Did he find a time machine and went back to hang out with Dylan, Van Zandt and Gram Parsons in 1965?

6. Luke Lalonde – Dusty lime

Great pop tune, somewhere between Metronomy and HAIM.

7. Caroline Rose – Feel the way I want to

Beat, hook and stomp. And a funny video. Spotifys comparison with Vaccines and Arctic Monkeys isn’t spot on but not far off either.

Oktober 2019 – playlist

Under oktober månad har en hel del intressant musik från Sverige landat på mitt bord. Bl.a. Vola Tila, Sara Zackarias, Joel Alme, Deportees, och Olov Antonsson, ger oss fantastiskt material.

Några lite äldre låtar som jag missat finns också med på listan. T.ex. Join The Riot, Ryan Adams och Moto Boy, men överlag försöker jag vara ganska färsk med råvarorna.
