And here are a few of my absolute favorite songs. Don’t miss out on that.

1. Heather Woods BroderickMama shelter
Some kind of folk ambient by former Sharon Van Etten backing vocalist. Sister of Peter Broderick who’s also an Efterklang-collaborator. A lot of emotion in this song. Check her out on Western Vinyl.

2. MiguelLeaves
Wildheart is one of the best albums of 2015.

3. ThundercatThem changes
Heavenly bass player Stephen Brunnes alias has worked with acts like Kendrick Lamar and Sucidal Tendencies!

4. Bang GangOut of horizon
Melodic pop from Iceland.

5. Friska ViljorMy boys
Perfect summer anthem by Swedisch choir pop favorites.

6. AYERShotgun to my heart
Brooklyn based electro performance artist.

7. LA PriestLady’s in trouble with the law
Magnificent bass sound in this beautiful r’n’b noir ballad by former Late Of the Pier front man.

8. The LegendsSomething left for us to die for
Pure cotton candy for you ears. Swedish Legends have produced beautiful indie since 2003.

9. Grimm GrimmHazy eyes maybe
Japanese space singer-songwriter.

10. Leon BridgesBetter man
Throwback to 60s-soul a’la Otis Redding and Sam Cooke.

11. Oh MercySandy
Indie-quartet from Melbourne. Beautiful song.

12. Fine PointsAstral season
San Francisco-duo is bringing back guitar slinging onto the indie scene. Finally!

13. Shura2Shy
Influenced by Blood Orange and Diana Ross this is just perfect soft R’n’b by Manchesters Aleksandra Denton.

14. MY QBaby Rose
I’m a total sucker for this 80’s-vibe k-pop ballad.

15. Bag RaidersWaterfalls
Another must listen summer anthem from Sydney-based electro duo.

16. KristineThe Deepest blue
Maybe this multi-instrumentalist from Athens doesn’t save Greece from the crisis but she is definitely a cure worth trying. One of my favorites at the moment with an 80s-vibe that makes John Hughes smile in his grave. I don’t know if Don Henley smiles as much listening to the boys of summer-intro?

17. Mac DemarcoAnother one
He’s back! New 8-track record from Captured Tracks
