Det här va ju trevligt. En isländsk Bon Iver som trollbinder med Merlinska krafter. Blott 20 år gammal känns det ändå som Asgeir Trausti har samlat på sej visdom från urskogarna i hundratals år. Visdom som nu är redo att delas ut åt en lekman som jag. Det är mogna och genomtänkta Bon Iverska stockstugeballader från den öppnad eldens sken som nu tappas ur isländsk kran. Asgeir Trausti var också nominerad som en av de 12 till det prestigefyllda Nordic Music Prize, som för några veckor sedan tillföll First Aid Kit. 2011 vanns priset av Goran Kajfes. Se där. Inga dåliga namn att trängas i en text med. Det är då både min och Asgeirs förtjänst. Mest hans. Albumet med det småkluriga namnet Dýrð í dauðaþögn är fantastiskt. Ta del av det.
