This month I urge you not to miss out on a couple of cherries. Russian new wave engine Motorama is an absolute must for fans of Joy Division and such. Finnish Suad delivers dark piano driven indie pop in style. Sivert Höyem, Allman Brown, Leif Vollebekk, and happy pop sensation Sports. I think You better listen through the whole playlist.

Finally we found time to gather our shattered lives together and name the best song of the year. We have done this for over 10 years now, usually in January or February but getting older obviously means getting busier.
I takes an entire day and evening to get through this event, playing as much as 100 songs. In the end of the evening each jury member list 20 songs where the song at number one gets one point and the song at number two gets two points and so on. Not ending up in the top twenties results in 50 points. The song with least points is crowned best song of the year.
So here is our list. (Have to say that some votes were cast with very much heart, since an all time favorite band announced their farewell)
Congratulations to Kent, getting the joined number one spot with two of their songs. ”Egoist” and ”Vi är inte längre där”. Thanks for everything!
